My "too many ukes" sale continues. I am just playing sopranos these days so this wonderful Johnny Marvin Prince of Wales Professional tenor uke (actually concert sized [L -- 23" W -- 8"] and fits in a concert case) just doesn't fit in my repertoire any more. It has the typical old koa sound found in vintage Martin K series ukes -- the brightness and roundness of koa with great sustain. The uke is in wonderful condition except the uke has been refinished (I'm a player not a collector) with a finish that is slightly darker than the original, and there is a tiny stable crack in the highest fret of the fretboard where it is over the body (see pictures). Has the typical mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, and double binding. Very cool pearloid headstock overlay and airplane bridge. Harmony banner decal on verso of headstock, silver period friction tuners brown bridge pegs. Nothing wrong with this uke except that it's just too large for me now. Thanks, g2 (garyg on UU)
